Your tasks
9. In your role, you will be responsible for the design and system integration with a focus on complex IT systems/IT network architectures on naval ships/boats.
10. You will accompany HW/SW development projects.
11. You will be responsible for creating derived requirements, specifications and test specifications.
12. You will be responsible for checking the technical specifications of system suppliers and supporting project management.
13. You will support system certifications by classification societies.
14. You will manage our system suppliers during order processing.
15. You will be responsible for planning and carrying out commissioning and acceptance on board.
Your profile
16. You have a technical or scientific degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or mathematics.
17. Certifications such as CCENT, CCNA, CCNP, ICND etc. are desirable.
18. You have knowledge of network topologies, storage/server clouds, virtualization (e.g. VM Ware), IT security in the network area (e.g. firewall/CDM/packet diodes), QoS, etc.
19. You are familiar with topics such as network device configuration, MBSE, Software Defined Network.

26. Professional experience
27. We expect professional experience in the areas of IT infrastructure, complex networks/architectures, virtualization, Quality of Service (QoS) and IT security.
28. Experience with naval vessels or comparable experience is desirable.
29. You have experience in project planning/development of complex systems based on international standards (IEEE 1220, V-model XT or similar)
