About the role
The Global Azure Pursuits role will be responsible for developing and managing our global alliance with Microsoft, including building the go-to-market strategy and supporting regional sales and partner teams to execute that plan. The Strategic Cloud Pursuits Director will serve as a key collaborator across these teams and industries, increasing sales productivity, accelerating sales cycles, and closing business leveraging funding programs with Microsoft. Our program also provides access to senior sales leaders at Microsoft.
We are looking for candidates based in Frankfurt for our hybrid working model.

What you will be doing
1. Work on the Microsoft Azure program on strategic deals for global sales.
2. Generate strategic joint pipeline with Microsoft sales team and MongoDB account executives on existing enterprise and commercial accounts.
3. Implement a prospecting program in partnership with the Microsoft ecosystem, focusing on enterprise and commercial accounts.
4. Manage strategic deals from enterprise accounts in collaboration with MongoDB field sales, partners, and Microsoft sales teams until closure.
5. Coordinate with the global pillar team for support and pipeline generation.
6. Forecast weekly sales net new ACV to the VP.
What you will bring to the table
1. At least 2 years in a strategic sales role within a high-tech company.
2. Experience working in a complex sales matrix environment.
3. Technical knowledge in open-source software, big data, IoT, or cloud computing.
4. Fluency in English and German.
