Activities
We are seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. As a key technical advisor and trusted consultant, you will help prospects and customers understand how our product addresses real challenges and guide them through the entire buying journey from initial conversations to technical onboarding. You will effectively operate at the intersection of customers, the sales team, and product management to ensure our solutions meet business needs efficiently.
1. Partner with the sales team to qualify opportunities and uncover technical requirements.
2. Deliver engaging product demonstrations showcasing how our solution meets customer goals.
3. Prepare and deliver tailored proof of concepts and solution workshops demonstrating how our product fits each customer's unique requirements and accelerates their decision-making.
4. Lead technical discussions and guide prospects through solution architecture, integrations, and best practices.
5. Prepare and present proposals, RFP responses, and proof of concepts.
6. Build and nurture strong relationships with prospects, customers, and partners serving as a trusted advisor to technical and business stakeholders throughout the sales process.
7. Gather customer feedback and relay insights to Product Management and Engineering.
8. Support enablement activities including creating technical documentation and reusable demo assets.
9. Represent the company at events, trade fairs, webinars, and workshops.
Requirements
* You hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* You bring at least 3 years of experience in technical sales, solution consulting, or similar role.
* You bring hands-on experience in software development or architecture with a strong technical foundation in modern software development practices and technologies.
* You have excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
* You have a high level of empathy and curiosity; you enjoy understanding customer needs and pain points.
* You are fluent in written and spoken English & German.
