Lamar Development is a design-led luxury real estate group working with the world's most celebrated architects — Patricia Urquiola, David Chipperfield, Isay Weinfeld — delivering extraordinary projects across Europe and Dubai. We are entering Germany and we are looking for the person who will lead that expansion.
This is a founding role. No team. No playbook. No hand-holding. Just a serious mandate, real backing, and a genuine equity stake in what you build.
The opportunity
Within 2–3 years, the right person becomes a partner with a 20% share in the German business. This is not a retention clause buried in a contract. It is the point.
We are looking for someone ambitious, high-energy, and ready to step into a director role. Someone who has been in the room on deals, understands the full cycle from origination to close, and has the network to open doors from day one.

What you will do
→ Lead Lamar's entry into the German market — strategy, relationships, deal flow, execution
→ Build and manage a high-value network of investors, developers, banks, funds, and institutional partners
→ Source, evaluate, and structure real estate investment opportunities across Germany
→ Own the full deal cycle — financial modelling, legal coordination, negotiation, and close
→ Represent Lamar at the highest level with institutional investors and strategic partners
→ Travel regularly to Madrid to align with group leadership and the broader European team
→ Set up and run the German operation independently — this is a startup environment inside a luxury brand
What we are looking for
✓ Background in real estate investment, banking, finance consulting, real estate funds, or institutional investment
✓ Deal experience — you understand financials, legals, and most importantly, how to close
✓ Strong and established network in Germany — investors, developers, lenders, institutional contacts
✓ Fluent German and strong English — both non-negotiable
✓ Real estate market understanding — residential, commercial, or development
✓ Entrepreneurial mindset — you set up, you solve, you execute without being chased
✓ Self-motivated, high energy, and genuinely positive — you raise the energy in every room you walk into
✓ Strong communicator — you bring the details, you manage your time, and you know how to read a room

Compensation
💼 Consulting structure: €6,000/month retainer (independent contractor — no social security, no employment taxes)
💰 Base salary alternative: €90,000 – €130,000 depending on experience and preferred structure
🎯 Performance bonus: 20% cash bonus — paid exclusively as the company generates revenue. You earn when the business earns. No padding, no guarantees disconnected from results.
📈 Equity: 20% share in the German business, structured to grow as the operation scales
🤝 Partner track: 2–3 years for the right person
🏆 Year one ambition: building toward a revenue contribution that justifies and funds the equity stake, with a long-term target exceeding €250,000+ in annual contribution
This is a compensation structure for someone who is certain of their ability and wants to be rewarded proportionally for what they build. If you want a guaranteed package regardless of results — this is not the right fit. If you want to build something real and own a piece of it — this is exactly that.
The person
You have solid experience in finance, banking, real estate, or investment. You have been on deals. You understand how the money works, how the legals work, and how to get things across the line.
You are not looking to be managed. You are looking for the right mandate.
