DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Deliver instructor-led medical training in classroom, field, and simulated environments
2. Provide Instructor/Operator (I/O) support for all MSTC training events and courses
3. Execute training in both individual and collective training environments, including battlefield simulation conditions
4. Support training for Active Duty, Army Reserve, National Guard, and Department of Army Civilians
5. Conduct student evaluations, performance assessments, and testing support
6. Ensure compliance with medical certification standards and training requirements
7. Support development, validation, and execution of Programs of Instruction (POIs)
8. Develop, modify, and execute realistic medical training scenarios
9. Integrate battlefield conditions, casualty effects, and scenario injects into training events
10. Support planning, coordination, and execution of military training exercises
11. Provide support to unit-led training conducted within MSTC facilities
12. Configure and execute simulation environments during training events
13. Perform operator-level maintenance (PMCS) on all medical TADSS and training devices
14. Troubleshoot simulation systems and resolve operational issues
15. Coordinate with maintenance contractors for higher-level repairs and equipment issues
16. Maintain accountability and readiness of all training devices, simulators, and equipment
17. Prepare, manage, and maintain training materials, instructional aids, and supplies
18. Manage moulage kits, medical consumables, and simulation support materials
19. Conduct After Action Reviews (AARs) and provide performance feedback to students and units
20. Capture lessons learned and support continuous training improvement
21. Support training-related administrative functions, including documentation and reporting
22. Maintain training records, attendance tracking, and performance data
23. Coordinate training schedules and activities with MSTC staff and supported units
24. Support test events, validation activities, and certification requirements
25. Support Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) sustainment and other designated courses
26. Ensure readiness to support simultaneous and surge training operations
27. Participate in training coordination meetings and daily synchronization activities
28. Comply with safety, risk management, and hazard reporting requirements
29. Handle and manage hazardous materials (HAZMAT) in accordance with regulations
30. Comply with all security requirements, including access control and identification procedures
31. Complete required cybersecurity, AT Level I, OPSEC, TARP, and other mandatory training
32. Support Force Protection Condition (FPCON) requirements and operational changes
33. Comply with all applicable Army regulations, policies, and directives
34. Senior Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
35. High School Diploma
36. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
37. Must be current in and maintain National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) with a level of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or higher.
38. Must have a U.S. Passport and be eligible for SOFA
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
39. Must have 10 years of work experience within the applicable medical scope.
40. Must be Basic Life Support Instructor Certified.
41. Must meet one of the following requirements: Former 68W or 18D Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) Advanced Leader Course (ALC) graduate; Forner Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 8404 or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman E-6 or above; Former Air Force 4NOX1, or Aerospace Medical Service E-6 or above; Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA) or Physician.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
42. Advanced Life Support (ALS) Instructor certification desired.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
43. U. S. Citizen
44. Must have an active Public Trust clearance.
