Our client is a global Tier 1 in the manufacturing industry and is looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition for one of his business unit. Location is flexible in Europe.
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and elevate recruitment efforts across the organization. In this role, you will develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that attract top-tier talent in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, R&D, sales, leadership and all other functions. This position plays a critical role in shaping the future workforce of a dynamic and rapidly evolving automotive company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership
* Develop and implement a scalable talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s growth and innovation goals.
* Partner with executive leadership to understand workforce needs and develop proactive hiring plans.
* Lead workforce planning initiatives in collaboration with HR and department leaders.
* Recruitment Operations
* Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
* Establish and track key hiring metrics
* Optimize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
* Team Leadership
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of recruiters and sourcing specialists.
* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Employer Branding & Talent Marketing
* Enhance the company’s employer brand in the automotive sector and beyond.
* Drive campaigns and partnerships that position the company as an employer of choice.
* Represent the company at industry events, job fairs, and campus recruiting activities.
* Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
* Integrate DEI best practices into all recruiting efforts.
* Champion inclusive hiring strategies and diverse candidate pipelines.
* Build relationships with external executive search firms and professional associations as needed.
Profile required
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Proven experience recruiting within the automotive, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
* Deep understanding of talent trends in the automotive and mobility space (EV, autonomous, connected tech).
* Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven recruitment strategies.
* Expertise in employer branding, recruitment marketing, and candidate engagement.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
