Description
We are currently looking for dynamic and passionate Sales Engineer. To your scope of functions belong the promotion and sales of Automation Studio with the objective to improve our customer relationship as well as the market share and sales volume. For that purpose, you will put to contribution your comprehensive technical expertise in a creative and efficient way.
Responsibilities
1. Identify and qualify new business opportunities and distributors in a competitive market through research, visits and customer contact;
2. Identify customers needs and determine which products and services provided by Famic Technologies best suit their needs;
3. Increase services and revenue within existing accounts by providing strong support to customers;
4. Perform demonstrations of the products;
5. Prepare quotes and proposals and close deals;
6. Ensure customers satisfaction during the whole sales process and after delivery of software products or projects;
7. Participate in trade shows and other promotional events;
8. Analyze the results of promotional and sales activities and prepare progress reports & trends periodically;
9. Report and share information on a periodic basis;
10. Ensure compliance to the companys quality system procedures and processes.
Qualifications
11. University degree (B. Sc. or M. Sc.) in engineering (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or equivalent);
12. Dual training in engineering and marketing or administration;
13. 2 years experience in a similar position is an asset;
14. Leadership, good communication and decision-making skills;
15. Sales and negotiations skills;
16. Excellent knowledge in both written and spoken German;
17. Very good knowledge of English or French is required; Knowledge of additional languages is an asset;
18. Knowledge of tools and IT systems to support relevant sales;
19. Excellent knowledge related to market analysis, client analysis, knowledge of distribution networks;
20. Knowledge of the fluid industry and automation (asset).

Fluency in English and/or other foreign languages is a requirement for this position, because the related responsibilities concern markets mainly outside Quebec, or because the person could be called upon to communicate with staff located in the other divisions of the company located abroad.
