* Research and development in the field of MIMO DSP for optical communication systems

What you contribute
* Full-time student at a German university, preferably in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or physics, with good to very good academic performance
* Good knowledge in the field of optical communications engineering
* High level of initiative and interest in scientific work
* Good communication skills (German/English) and team spirit
* Experience with MATLAB/VPItransmissionMaker is advantageous

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.
The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
