Responsibilities
* Lead and manage IFRS Tax Accounting and Tax forecasting, including quarterly IFRS current and deferred tax calculations, tax notes, and disclosures.
* Ensure compliance with international tax regulations and transfer pricing regulations in collaboration with the corporate direct tax team.
* Oversee global tax initiatives such as CbCR and Pillar 2, and assess their impacts on the company.
* Lead tax projects, collaborating across departments to drive digital transformation and automate tax processes.
* Support tax compliance through documentation and controls.
* Drive process automation within the tax function by implementing digital tools.
* Act as deputy to the Head of Taxes, including preparing and presenting tax reports to management.
Requirements
* 6-8 years of experience in tax consulting or in-house tax departments, focusing on national and international income taxation.
* Deep knowledge of German and international income tax law, with a solid foundation in tax accounting and corporate tax topics; certification as a German tax advisor (Steuerberater) is preferred.
* Passion for implementing and refining tax and finance processes for efficiency.
* Interest in exploring and integrating new digital tools and technologies.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
* Enjoy working in a young, dynamic, and international team.
* Commitment to process improvement and innovative solutions.
* Comfort working in a flat hierarchy and representing the Head of Taxes in management tasks.
* Fluency in German and English.
