About the role
In this R&D Development Technician (all genders) position at Reckitt, you will support our team of expert scientists developing products in the detergent category.
As of when? From July 2026
This position is limited (for 2 years), with the goal to transform it into a permanent position.
Your responsibilities
Technical support and laboratory tasks are performed to support detergent development initiatives in the United States, with full adherence to all safety regulations. Your responsibilities include maintaining laboratory equipment, keeping the workspace clean and well organized, and ensuring accurate documentation of test results. All activities are carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring proper equipment operation, strict compliance with safety and hygiene standards, Good Laboratory Practices, and all applicable legal, health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Personal Skills: • Eager to work in a team, demonstrating strong and proactive communication skills • Able to structure, organise and prioritise taks • High result-orientation • High level of self-motivation Professional skills: • Knowledge of basic physical and chemical hazards • Ability to document work accurately in line with Good Laboratory Practice • Solid knowledge of laboratory techniques (workplace and bench work) • Understanding of laboratory work supporting product development and testing • Technical experience in R&D or related fields is a plus Education: • Minimum vocational or comparable qualification Language Skills: • Good German or English skills (B2 level or higher)
