Scientist MS&T Analytical (f/m/d)
Join Takeda’s MS&T Analytical Lab team and contribute to innovative vaccine manufacturing. Drive process development and optimization via analytical support and investigations while collaborating with global teams to enhance analytical robustness, and troubleshoot challenges.
What you will contribute:
1. Design, execute, and evaluate analytical experiments supporting DS and DP labs, utilizing bioanalytical, molecular, and physic-chemical methods
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams from MS&T, CMC, QC, QA, RA and manufacturing to drive process improvements, analytical investigations, and lifecycle management
3. Identify and communicate method limitations, troubleshoot issues, propose solutions, and prepare testing schemes and technical reports
4. Develop, standardize and utilize methods and routines for process characterization and optimization
5. Analyze data trends and analytical performance, interpret experimental outcomes, and contribute to regulatory submissions
6. Maintain accurate documentation, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and support lab operations through common lab tasks and technology implementation
7. Assist in deviation investigations, improvement projects, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
In this position you will report to the Manager MS&T Analytical Lab.
What you bring to Takeda:
8. MSc in a scientific discipline with at least 4 years of experience in vaccine or biologics analytics, MS&T labs or start-ups
9. Expertise in bioanalytical and molecular techniques, with strong theoretical and practical skills in cell culture handling, virology and/or immunology
10. Experience in sustaining cGxP for quality control and manufacturing of drug substance and drug product
11. Hands-on experience in experimental design, troubleshooting, and method improvement
12. Strong communication skills in German and English
13. Capability to create position papers based on experiments, method performance trending and bibliography to reinforce knowledge sharing and improvement of competencies
14. Hands-on mentality with lab activities to run experiments and support colleagues in execution of complex experiments
