Information Security Officer (f/m/d)
Place of work: Jülich
Your tasks:
* You will work in a team of around 20 employees who deal with all topics relating to IT, information security and data protection issues at Project Management Jülich (PtJ).
* You will be responsible for the operation, further development and implementation of the existing information security management system (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001 on the basis of IT baseline protection.
* You will also implement security guidelines, develop awareness-raising and training measures and carry them out. You will also be responsible for conducting internal and external information security audits.
* You will also be responsible for planning and coordinating information security processes, taking into account the requirements of federal and state authorities.
* You will advise the management of PtJ and the business units on all matters relating to information security.
* In addition, you will be the contact person for managing, investigating and analyzing security incidents, including coordinating the measures to be taken and the parties involved.
* You will also be responsible for the design, implementation, coordination and further development of internal PtJ IT projects.
Your profile:
* You have a university degree (Master's or Diploma [Univ.]), preferably in the field of computer science, information / IT security or information technology.
* Ideally, you have already gained sound professional experience in the field of information security and in the implementation of IT projects.
* In addition, you have knowledge of common standards and processes (ISO 27001, BSI standards, IT baseline protection) as well as the relevant legal principles in the area of IT.
* You have in-depth knowledge of project management and already have some experience in change management processes
* You are ideally familiar with administrative and project funding processes at federal and state level.
* You are also a strong advisor and communicate fluently in German (C2 level).
* You are characterized by a pronounced technical and functional understanding as well as analytical thinking and convince with a reliable and careful way of working.
