Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure that facilities are wellmaintained, comply with regulations, and operate smoothly on a daytoday basis Collaborate with the engineering team to manage the design, maintenance, and optimization of infrastructure and systems within the facilities to enhance operational efficiency Participate in budget planning and managing allocated funds for maintenance and engineering activities, seeking costeffective solutions while maintaining high facility standards Monitor the condition and functionality of facility assets, including equipment and infrastructure, and coordinate repairs, replacements, or upgrades as needed Ensure that facilities adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, managing permits and certifications, and addressing compliance issues to mitigate risks Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and engineering services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring their work aligns with established specifications and budget constraints Implement energysaving practices and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and minimize the environmental footprint of facility operations Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments to ensure that maintenance and engineering work consistently meets established standards and address any issues promptly Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive emergency response plans for facilityrelated incidents, including power outages, natural disasters, or other emergencies Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance engineering Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment Proven problem-solving and analytical skills WE VALUE Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Electrical Engineering (EE) Experience with budget management Strong leadership and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills About Us About Solstice Advanced Materials Solstice Advanced Materials is a leading global specialty materials company that advances science for smarter outcomes.
