We are seeking a skilled Chinese Cuisine Chef to lead the preparation and cooking of authentic Chinese dishes in our restaurant/hotel. The ideal candidate will have expertise in traditional and modern Chinese cooking techniques, menu creation, and kitchen management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and present a variety of Chinese dishes including dim sum, noodles, soups, stir-fries, and sauces.
* Plan and create menus while maintaining authenticity and quality.
* Ensure kitchen hygiene, safety, and food sanitation standards are strictly followed.
* Train and supervise junior chefs, CDPs, and kitchen staff.
* Maintain inventory, manage stock, and control food costs efficiently.
* Innovate new recipes or adapt traditional recipes to meet customer preferences.
* Coordinate with management to optimize kitchen operations and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualities:
* Expertise in Chinese cuisine, including Cantonese, Szechuan, Hunan, or other regional styles.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation.
* Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety, and sanitation protocols.
* Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
