Commercial Data Analyst
The role of Commercial Data Analyst will play a pivotal part in driving the success of our streaming platform through data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining financial models across all streaming offerings to assess their commercial viability.
* Leading subscriber forecasting through cohort-based churn models, inflow estimations, and net growth tracking to inform strategic decisions.
* Simulating pricing and packaging scenarios to evaluate business impact and support pricing strategy development.
* Analyzing content consumption patterns to assess ROI and guide investment decisions for optimal revenue generation.
* Supporting budget and forecast cycles with revenue projections and contribution analysis per tier to ensure accurate financial planning.
* Delivering daily, weekly, and ad-hoc dashboards and performance insights for senior stakeholders to inform key business decisions.
* Quantifying the financial impact of product changes, campaigns, and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Creating financial and scenario models to support planning for regional market expansion and growth strategies.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in business planning, commercial analytics, or similar roles in streaming, SVOD, or OTT.
* Proven expertise in building forecasting models and evaluating pricing strategies to drive commercial growth.
* Solid grasp of key streaming KPIs such as ARPU, CLV, churn, and content ROI to inform data-driven decisions.
* Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables and sensitivity modeling); familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
* Strong analytical thinking and business judgment—able to challenge assumptions and communicate clear recommendations.
* Fluency in English; experience working with international teams is advantageous, though not required.
