Chief Physician, Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (m/w/d) in Burg

We are seeking a dedicated Chief Physician to lead the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at a well-established clinic starting from April 1, 2023. This is a permanent, full-time position with direct employment by the hospital. Doc PersonalBeratung will support you throughout the application process free of charge, from initial contact to contract signing.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Overall clinical and administrative leadership of the Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine Department.
* Strategic development and continuous improvement of clinical services and patient care pathways.
* Budgetary and personnel management including responsibility for staffing, recruitment, and training.
* Ensuring compliance with medical standards, quality assurance, and safety regulations.
* Active participation in hospital leadership meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
* Supervision and mentorship of assistant physicians and medical students from the Medical University of Brandenburg.
* Representation of the department in scientific and professional forums.
* On-call duties as part of the hospital’s rota system.
YOUR PROFILE
* Board certification (Facharzt) in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine or equivalent qualification.
* Proven leadership and management experience in a clinical setting.
* Authorization to provide medical training in accordance with the Ärztekammer guidelines.
* Strong interdisciplinary and economic understanding relevant to hospital operations.
* Demonstrated commitment to teaching, research, and quality improvement.
* Mandatory proof of immunization against SARS-CoV-2 and measles as required by German law.
* Proficiency in German sufficient for professional communication.
