What you will do
You will own the design and execution of successful training solutions that are aligned with the specific needs of the JCI sales management teams.
This role will be critical in the skill building of selling, solution, and building of customer relationships for the Sales organization. It includes working with the training staff to analyze assessments and reports to provide feedback to leadership. You will build a continuum of learning and skill building for the Sales organization, and support field technical training needs as required.
How will you do it
1. Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders within each of the stakeholder departments, including Management and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
2. Identify, assess, and analyze business requirements and training gaps to design effective learning solutions
3. Build and monitor training roadmap for specific roles with client group
4. Design training programs for new hire and tenured employees within roles, leveraging content with the peer Sales, Sales Trainers, along with partnering with the technical training group
5. Develop role-specific content development, identify delivery methods, and build assessments and tests. Will also participate in these activities
6. Execute on learning solutions that impact large scale change in skill or behavior to your assigned learning group
7. Project manage the training programs end-to-end while interfacing with internal and external partners to achieve program objectives
What we look for
Required
8. Extensive experience delivering Sales and Operations Training, including roles in Sales Engineering and Sales Enablement, with a strong track record of driving sales effectiveness and performance improvement.
9. Fluent German language skills (written and spoken), with the ability to confidently deliver training sessions, facilitate workshops, and support stakeholders in German-speaking environments.
10. Proven expertise in end-to-end training development and delivery, including needs analysis, curriculum design, content creation, facilitation (virtual and in-person), and evaluation of learning outcomes.
11. Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to travel up to 15%, supporting regional and international training initiatives, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Preferred
12. Bachelor’s degree in business or education
13. Previous Sales and Operations training experience
14. Previous experience leveraging AI-powered tools (e.g., generative AI, content automation platforms) to design and enhance engaging, scalable training programs.
15. Previous experience in designing and delivering end-to-end sales onboarding programs to accelerate time-to-productivity for new hires.
16. Deep knowledge of fire safety technology, products and market
17. Systems experience with MS Office Suite, NetMeeting, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, SnagIt, Captivate, Flash, DreamWeaver, Articulate
