Responsibilities
1. Projects: Support the Life Cycle Management team in projects, including conducting life cycle assessments (LCAs) and sustainability evaluations, as well as data management
2. Method Development: Identify, test, and evaluate methods and studies, e.g., new sustainability indicators and methodologies
3. Emission Reduction: Link LCA results with process design and optimization, and support measures for emission reduction
4. Analysis: Conduct research, perform LCA-related data analyses, and develop LCA models
5. Databases: Build and maintain databases relevant for LCAs
6. Insights: Study and derive insights from LCA methodologies and standardization documents
Requirements
7. Education: Master's or Bachelor's studies in the final phase of a natural sciences or engineering program with a focus on sustainability
8. Experience: Initial practical experience with LCA and respective software packages (e.g., GaBi) and sustainability methods (e.g., Biodiversity, Toxicology, Water, Product Environmental Footprint)
9. Interest: Interest in sustainability and technical topics
10. Languages: Fluent in English (B2), good German skills (B1) are advantageous
11. Strengths: Independent & target-oriented work, creative thinking and excellent analytical skills
