We are seeking a diligent and analytical Safety Specialist to join our Occupational Health and Safety team.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and implementing necessary actions to prevent any OHS occurrence within our global network, including Cargolux stations and subsidiary company Aquarius AFF.
* Conduct audits and inspections at Cargolux stations or Aquarius AFF to guide the company towards a proactive safety culture.
* Support monitoring of corrective actions and safety trends in relation to your area of expertise.
* Make safety recommendations from investigations to reduce the probability of reoccurrence and consequences of safety incidents.
* Support Cargolux stations in producing safety-related information and implementing the Company OHSMS (OHS Management System).
* Conduct psychosocial risk analysis and ensure implementation of corrective actions with various stakeholders.
* Contribute to creating and developing documented processes and procedures for the OHS department.
* Support integration of the OHSMS into day-to-day business decision making across the global network.
* Encourage staff to abide by and follow the company OHSMS.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
* Bachelor's/Master's Degree.
* At least 5-7 years' work experience in a Health & Safety department or related field.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
* Strong knowledge in mental health and Psychosocial Risk.
* Strong knowledge of safety management principles and ISO 45001 standard.
* Designated worker certificate Level E up to date (considered as a strong advantage).
* Experience in aviation or ISO 45003 standard (considered as an advantage).
* Inquisitive and good listener, maintain impartiality, able to handle confidential matters.
* Ability to empathize and know your audience.
* Feeling comfortable working in a team as well as autonomously.
* Methodical and organized way of working.
* Project management skills.
* Collection of factual data.
* High ability for teaming up with existing team members.
* Dealing effectively with complexity and having good problem-solving skills.
* Strong PC knowledge (MS Office and Outlook) and learning capabilities.
* Fluency in written and spoken English and French, other languages are a distinct advantage.
* Ability to work with international teams and across timezones.
Working Conditions:
* Position based in Luxembourg.
* Travel required.
* Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
