Your tasks
6. Carrying out calculations and numerical simulations during development, e.g. structural mechanics, structural dynamics, etc.
7. Work in interdisciplinary development teams
8. Support in the preparation of proofs of shock resistance
9. Ensuring the quality of results, also by proactively clarifying the boundary conditions, e.g. by means of material measurements

Your profile
11. Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, physics or a comparable qualification
12. Professional experience as a calculation engineer or simulation engineer, ideally in the maritime sector
13. Strong knowledge in the field of structural mechanics and structural dynamics, in particular numerical crash or shock simulations
14. Good knowledge of materials and production engineering as well as knowledge of rigid body simulation desirable
15. Confident handling of MS-Office, advanced user knowledge of Linux, LS-DYNA, ANSA/META and, if applicable, MATLAB, COMSOL, STAR-CCM+ or Siemens NX
16. Good written and spoken German and English skills
17. Willingness to perform safety checks
18. Analytical, proactive and independent way of working, confident, authoritative manner and very good teamwork and communication skills
