Benninger is a Swiss company and has been the world's leading partner of the textile and tire cord industry for more than 160 years. It has subsidiaries as well as service agencies around the globe. Benninger develops and produces machines and systems for textile finishing and tire cord production, which it supplies as complete system solutions. Benninger has many years of experience in the automation of machines and systems which is also used successfully in other branches of industry.
In this demanding and diverse role, you will lead the Engineering department and be responsible for the efficient planning, management, and execution of order-specific design projects for tire cord systems and development assignments. You will ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and budget targets in customer projects. Together with your team, you will actively drive the continuous development of the product portfolio.
You are familiar with customer and market requirements, derive innovative and cost-effective solutions, and ensure their efficient implementation. You coordinate international and cross-location project execution, enabling the use of global value chains. Additionally, you are responsible for building and securing know-how and further developing business processes in your area of responsibility within a modern system environment (CAD, EPLAN, PLM, SAP).
Your qualifications and skills:
You have a degree in mechanical or plant engineering and possess several years of solid professional and leadership experience in the fields of design and development. You demonstrate strong technical understanding as well as a high level of innovation and execution skills. Experience in working in an international environment and in-depth knowledge of CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks) and PLM systems (ideally SAP) are required.
Your strong interpersonal skills, structured working style, and solution-oriented leadership approach make you a valued contact both internally and externally. Excellent written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile.
