About the role We are currently hiring a
Senior Commercial Insights Manager – DACH
for one of our clients, an international, innovation-driven organization operating in a consumer-focused environment. As part of a
global Commercial Insights & Analytics function
within a broader
Strategy & Transformation setup, this role plays a key part in driving
data-driven commercial decision-making
across the DACH region.
You will work closely with
regional leadership teams, embedding
market, consumer, and performance insights
into commercial strategy. The role combines deep analytical work with strong stakeholder engagement, translating complex data into
clear, actionable recommendations
that influence strategic and operational decisions.
Acting as a trusted thought partner, you will support key initiatives, evaluate commercial impact, and ensure that strategy is consistently grounded in evidence and measurable outcomes.
The impact you’ll make Analyze commercial performance data (e.g. sales, promotions, distribution) to assess segment performance and identify growth drivers Deliver integrated,

to inform marketing and commercial strategy, optimization, and future decision-making Act as a
strategic advisor
to senior regional stakeholders across Marketing and Sales Identify, quantify, and prioritize
future growth opportunities
across categories and channels Translate insights into
clear recommendations
and actively drive their adoption across the organization Champion
data democratization
through targeted training and compelling insight storytelling Synthesize multiple data sources into cohesive narratives that deepen category and consumer understanding ️ Lead regular insights forums and presentations to amplify the consumer perspective across the business ⚙️ Advance analytics capabilities by promoting
best practices, tools, and emerging methodologies Collaborate closely with global insights and analytics teams to deliver regional insight needs
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring ⏳ 6+ years of experience in
Insights & Analytics, ideally in a commercial or consumer-driven environment Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field Strong experience analyzing commercial performance data (Sell-In, Sell-Out, inventory metrics) and syndicated market data (e.g. GfK, Nielsen or similar) Background in
FMCG or consumer goods
is strongly preferred ️ Solid knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI is a strong advantage) Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Strong analytical, synthesis, and presentation capabilities (visual & verbal) Ability to design and apply
scalable, repeatable insight frameworks Proven track record of influencing business decisions with fact-based insights and persuasive storytelling Fluent German and English
