Design of printed circuit boards including complex multi-layers and circuit diagrams using the tool Altium or similar Creation of specifications and documentation for the PCB & PCBAs (drilling legend, stack build or similar) Creating new components and checking and maintaining existing components in Tool Altium Supervision of activities Design for Manufacturing (DfM) & Design for Assembly (DfA) Supervision of the printed circuit board production with EMS partners (Electronic Manufacturing Services) Generation of the production data for the respective PCB & PCBAs according to project progress (ODB++ / Gerber, BOM, Pick & Place etc.) Coworker in a mixed team of developers for high frequency and embedded computers and the mechanical design team Circuit simulations (SI/PI or EMC or similar) and worst-case analyses are plus points but not a requirement
Requirements Completed technical training as a technical system designer (f/m/d), technical product planner (f/m/d) or higher training or degree Many years of professional experience in the field of complex PCB designs Experience in mixed signal design and EMC-compliant design desired Very good knowledge of the CAD tool Altium and the associated addons or similar tools Advanced experience with ANSYS SiWave or a similar tool is a plus but not a requirement Very good communication skills Very good language skills in English and German
This role is categorized as onsite. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location on a full-time basis.
