Our client, a leading international asset management firm, is seeking an Internal auditor to join its Luxembourg-based internal audit team for a 10-month contract (maternity cover until end of August 2026). This role offers exposure to a dynamic and regulated environment, with responsibilities spanning local and cross-border audit activities.
Key Responsibilities :
* Plan and execute internal audits across the Luxembourg entity and its EU branches
* Contribute to thematic compliance reviews and special investigations
* Ensure audit work meets professional standards and internal procedures
* Escalate findings and track remediation actions
* Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to stay informed of key developments
* Support onboarding and mentoring of interns within the audit function
* Collaborate with external audit partners to ensure quality and consistency
Profile Sought :
* Proven experience in audit, ideally within financial services and asset management firms (2 years minimum, includign internship)
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* High standards of integrity and attention to detail
* Fluency in English; other languages are an asset
