As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a curious and passionate individual to join our team as the Director Supply Chain and Procurement (f/m/d) and drive our business forward. The role offers the flexibility to work hybrid at our Berlin office or Leipzig headquarters.
What You´ll Do
As our Director Supply Chain and Procurement (f/m/d) you will lead a team of 10 colleagues and be responsible for the following core tasks:
* Lead and manage our global Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Sourcing Teams
* Hold responsibility for both strategic and operational procurement, including global sourcing initiatives
* Ensure continuous product availability while optimizing inventory management processes
* Strategically develop our supplier base in terms of assortment availability, commercial terms and supply chain processes and integration
* Build a global external fulfiller network as a strategic pillar for the future growth
* Manage our supply operations processes such as return, delivery management and customs
* Collaborate with commercial business units to offer the best supply chain services possible
* Supervise and coordinate all global shipping operations, encompassing both import and export activities
What You´ll Bring
* You have obtained a Master of Business Administration degree or an equivalent education
* You have gained a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a management position
* You have a strong ability to plan, source, negotiate, and make decisions
* You have a strong understanding of procurement processes & ERP system processes
* You have advanced knowledge of analytical tools, AI know-how would be a plus
* You have relevant experience in e-commerce, FMCG or a similar industry. Print on demand would be a strong plus
* You have excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English
* You have a hands-on mentality
