Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst for Production Support in our Wealth & Front Asset Management Systems (AMS) team in Berlin, Germany. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our wealth and asset management platforms across Europe.
* Analyze and resolve production issues related to wealth and asset management systems
* Collaborate with development teams to implement system enhancements and bug fixes
* Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
* Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and system configurations
* Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose long-term solutions
* Liaise between business users and IT teams to ensure effective communication of requirements and solutions
* Participate in change management processes, including impact assessments and user acceptance testing
* Provide timely updates to stakeholders on issue resolution progress and system status
* Assist in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
* Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting wealth and asset management systems in Europe
Qualifications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Proven experience in production support or similar IT operations role, preferably in the financial services industry
* In-depth knowledge of wealth management and asset management systems
* Solid understanding of financial markets, products, and European regulatory environment
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and SQL
* Experience with ITIL framework and best practices
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field preferred
* Experience with specific wealth management or asset management platforms is highly desirable
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
* ITIL certification is a plus
