In our “Development of Electric Drives, Power Electronics, and Transmissions” division, we are responsible for the development of all future pulse-width modulated inverters (PWRs) for electric drives. The assignment period in Kassel/Baunatal is ideally 12 to 24 months—allowing you to contribute your expertise to innovative projects over the long term while pursuing your studies.
Possible tasks within this role
* Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of laboratories and measurement equipment, as well as with administrative tasks in the laboratory environment (e.g., inventory management and organization)
* Contributing to the design, execution, and documentation of hardware tests (unit and integration tests)
* Developing tools (such as adapter boards or signal generators) for test execution
* Developing and implementing automated processes and evaluations
* Supporting the project “Development and Implementation of a Maintenance and Documentation Tool for Measurement Equipment”
Qualification requirements
* Students (including those on a gap year) majoring in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related fields
* Good to very good academic performance
* Knowledge of power electronics or hardware development, as well as circuit design and microelectronics, is desirable
* Experience with MATLAB, PLECS, LTSpice, VBA, or similar tools is a plus
* Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
* German and English language level B2
* Class B driver’s license required
