Responsibilities
* Administration, operation, and continuous development of the IT infrastructure (servers, clients, network, cloud systems)
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and/or HP
• Management of user accounts, permissions, and access rights
• System monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting
• Providing schooling and process development for and with our users
• Execution of backups, updates, and security patch management
• Participation in IT projects and infrastructure modernization initiatives
• Creation and maintenance of technical system documentation
• 2nd and 3rd level user support
* Generation and management of structured/statistical data (KPI)
Qualifications
* Completed vocational training or academic degree in IT (e.g., System Integration Specialist) or comparable qualification (also a technical IT qualifications)
• Proven experience in administering Windows and/or Linux servers
• Solid knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, firewall, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with virtualization and backup solutions
• Strong understanding of IT security, data protection, and GDPR compliance, both US and Germany
* Strong understanding of social media platforms
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
* Minimum C1 English and B2 German language skills
