Location Münster – Am Mittelhafen, Germany Employment Type Full‑time Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Key Responsibilities Build and maintain an enterprise‑wide reference data model, defining scalable architecture standards. Lead architecture reviews, support project and development teams, and ensure compliance with SLAs. Design data target architecture with reusable patterns for scalability, stability, and cost efficiency. Own governance and ownership of data architectures, documenting lineage, privacy, and security by design. Advise business units and projects on data architecture and integration scenarios. Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture and the CTO area to align data strategy with the corporate architecture. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field. Proven experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect in data/analytics environments. Hands‑on experience in data modeling, API‑ and event‑driven architectures, and cloud technologies. Strong written and spoken English. Experience building scalable and secure data platforms, with familiarity in Data Governance, Lineage, and Metadata Management. Openness to developing soft‑skill capabilities such as communication, moderation, and decision making. Passion for innovation, data architecture, and AI/BI topics.
