Manager Territory Sales for South Germany

Location: Frankfurt / Munchen

In this key role, you will manage, direct and drive direct sales into Regional Accounts with your Sales Team.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and motivate your Sales Team
2. Develop account plans to achieve goals and exceed quota responsibility
3. Maximize Fortinet opportunity while providing value added solutions to customers
4. Serve as lead contact responsible for the flow of information to/from executive management
5. Work closely together with the account managers in order to maximize the primary business focus and serve as team leader responsible for the quality and success of activities in the territory
6. Develop relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners
7. Manage effective working relationships with assigned region MAMs, Technical Sales Engineers, and Consulting Professionals
8. Consistently build and deliver on an accurate territory pipeline
9. Travel within assigned territory as required
10. Manage key Fortinet partners and end users in the region
11. Build revenue and non revenue business plans with these partners.
12. Provide ongoing sales and technical trainings to these partners.
13. Build marketing plans to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenues with development funds.
14. Act as key channel strategist to regional sales managers within region.
15. Partner with Fortinet marketing and engineering teams to drive revenue growth within region.
16. Provide geographic channel coverage for the region
17. Carry quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Required Skills:

18. 10+ years technology selling experience managing a team
19. Proven ability to sell solutions to enterprise customers
20. Experience in the network security industry
21. A proven track record of significant over-quota achievement and demonstrated career stability
22. Experience in closing
23. Selling experience must include one of the following : 1) Firewall/VPN, 2) AV 3) IDS/IDP
24. Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors
25. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
26. Goal oriented individual, with vast interpersonal managerial skills, strong business acumen and positive leadership abilities with proven results in mentoring, motivating and developing teams.
