A leading international organisation is strengthening its procurement function and is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to support business leaders and drive sourcing initiatives across its German operations.
Your responsibilities:
* Act as the key contact for procurement-related topics across multiple categories
* Partner with leadership teams to align sourcing strategy with business goals
* Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to drive efficiency and performance
* Lead supplier negotiations and secure favorable terms and contracts
* Build strong supplier relationships and continuously evaluate performance
* Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement procurement projects and best practices
Your profile:
* 5+ years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or a comparable role
* Strong background in supplier management, sourcing strategy, and negotiation
* Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
* Analytical and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills in German and English
* Willingness to travel occasionally
* Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
