Who will you be joining?
Group Economic Research (GER) conducts macroeconomic, financial market, and insurance trend research. GER advises Allianz’s management with economic forecasts, scenario analysis, and thematic research. We also represent Allianz externally on economic and capital market issues.
How can you make an impact?
* Monitor macroeconomic trends in Europe, focusing on climate economics, including implications of green transformation on economy, society, and capital markets.
* Create high-quality insights and reports on macroeconomic and climate topics.
* Engage in innovative research, developing new indicators and themes for thought leadership.
* Publish research findings internally and externally, and collaborate on cross-department projects.
* Brief senior management and the board on these issues.
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:
* PhD / Master’s in Economics, Statistics, or Finance with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
* Proficiency in MS Office, data providers, and modeling software.
* Strong data science skills including analytics, modeling, visualization, and scenario building.
* Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
* Experience in business functions such as sales, operations, claims, underwriting, investment, or digital/tech is a plus.

* Excellent presentation skills in English and German.
