About NativeResearch
NativeResearch drw GmbH is a premium professional services firm that combines advanced quantitative consumer research with senior-level strategic interpretation. We work primarily with strategy consultancies, investors (VC/PE), and selected corporate clients who need insight quality and decision impact – not just speed or cost.
We are a team of 15, operating without rigid hierarchy or silos, where expertise and initiative define responsibility and leadership. Our work spans segmentation, conjoint-based pricing, brand tracking, U&A studies, market sizing, and custom methodologies – often with significant customization for demanding clients.
The Role
We are looking for a strong quantitative researcher who is ready to take ownership of projects and client relationships in our Insights team.
You have built solid foundations in quantitative research and know what good looks like. Now you want an environment where you can take on more responsibility, work on more sophisticated challenges, and further develop your ability to lead projects, advise clients, and turn data into clear, decision-relevant recommendations.
At Native, you will not be hidden in the back office. You will work directly with clients, manage custom research projects from briefing through delivery, and be trusted to find solutions. In return, you will receive genuine mentorship from senior colleagues and exposure to demanding, bespoke work that will accelerate your development.
This role is centered on project ownership, client leadership, research design, and interpretation. While you should be comfortable working with quantitative data and methodologies, this is not primarily a technical infrastructure role. Your core value lies in understanding the real client question, shaping a sound research approach, and translating findings into compelling stories and recommendations.
Seniority & Scope
We are open to candidates across a range of seniority levels.
For candidates at a more mid-level stage, the role focuses on independently managing projects of increasing complexity, building confidence in client situations, and strengthening methodological judgment with support from senior colleagues where needed.
For more senior candidates, the scope includes leading highly customized and strategically important projects with greater autonomy, serving as a senior point of contact for clients, contributing to proposals and pitches, guiding junior colleagues, and helping raise the overall quality of project delivery across the team.
Your exact scope will depend on your experience, judgment, and demonstrated ability to operate independently.
What you will do
* Manage quantitative research projects from briefing through delivery – taking ownership of timelines, quality, and client communication
* Design questionnaires, define sampling approaches, and ensure methodological soundness – with guidance available when needed, but increasing autonomy as scope and experience grow
* Analyze survey data and translate findings into clear, compelling stories that drive client decisions
* Work directly with clients: understanding their real questions, managing expectations, and presenting your work with confidence
* Lead customized ad-hoc research across methodologies such as segmentation, conjoint, U&A, brand tracking, market sizing, and pricing research
* Collaborate closely with Survey Analytics colleagues on complex projects, ensuring that analytical outputs are translated into clear client-facing implications and recommendations
* Contribute to proposals and pitches by helping shape strong, methodologically credible approaches to client questions
* Support and guide more junior colleagues through collaboration, review, and shared problem-solving
What We Offer
* Compensation: Above industry-average
* Performance bonus: 5-20%
* A role with real impact in a growing boutique – not a cog in a large machine
* Direct collaboration with senior leadership and exposure to high-stakes client work
* Flexible working: Hamburg-based with office presence typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays (trust-based, not mandated)
* Additional benefits: Budget for education, WellPass, monthly internet allowance, 31 days of vacation
Reporting & Team Structure
You will report to Hanno Stier (Head of Research), with methodological guidance from Tomas Andor (Managing Director – Methodology). While you won't have formal direct reports initially, you will be expected to lead through expertise – guiding junior colleagues and serving as a go-to resource for methodological and project challenges.
Location
This role is based in Hamburg, Germany. We have a strong preference for candidates who can be present in our Hamburg office regularly, as weekly in-person collaboration is important for this senior role. We also have colleagues in Berlin, but Hamburg remains our primary hub and a major center for market research talent in Germany.
