Position Summary:
Analog Devices is the leader in battery management solutions for electric vehicles. Our Automotive Systems and Solutions team is responsible for automotive long term technology strategy, and we are seeking a lead engineer for Automotive Electrification Systems. In this role, you will guide a forward-looking team of engineers developing technology roadmaps and prototyping innovative system solutions for automotive charging, battery management and electric drive-train. Solutions include integrated circuits, software and algorithms.

Job Responsibilities:
·Define long term strategy and technology roadmaps for vehicle electrification
·Lead a small team of engineers developing proofs of concept for innovative electrification solutions and socialize these concepts to customers and our cross-functional team
·Work with OEMs/Tier1s to capture and refine electrification-related requirements
·Work with product line marketing to develop business cases for these technologies
·Work with product lines management to align long term strategy and short term strategy
·Work with product lines to bring new technology concepts to market
·Stay current with industry groups to track standards related to electrification
Key Qualifications:
·Expertise in power semiconductor technologies, battery management, charging and motor control
·A solid technical understanding of charging, battery and drivetrain systems for electric vehicles
·Familiarity with functional safety and security standards for automotive
·Proven ability to bridge technical depth with product strategy
·Familiarity with communication technologies – wired and wireless
·Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively across functional groups and to lead discussions with customers at engineering and management levels
·Preferred: Experience working with an OEM or Tier1 to define system solutions
