We are looking for a Freelance Market Access Biotech Director. If you bring 12+ years of freelancing experience within the boutique biotech sector, your leadership and strategic insight are exactly what we need to shape and steer high-level market access strategies.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and execution of comprehensive market access strategies across multiple biotech assets
* Conduct in-depth market assessments to identify complex access barriers and design innovative, tailored solutions
* Partner with senior cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategy and deliver on commercial goals
* Build and maintain influential relationships with key payers, HTA bodies, and external stakeholders across priority markets
* Monitor the evolving market access landscape and proactively adapt strategies to stay ahead of the curve
* Provide strategic pricing and reimbursement input to optimise product positioning and value communication
* Serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging your deep freelance experience to shape access strategy at a leadership level
Qualifications
* MSc in a related field preferred; BSc considered with significant experience
* Extensive freelance market access experience (8+ years) within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
* Deep understanding of healthcare systems, payer expectations, and access pathways across key European markets
* Proven ability to influence access strategy within agile, boutique biotech environments
* Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with a strategic mindset
* Solid knowledge of relevant compliance and regulatory frameworks
