EMS Procurement Manager (M/F/D)

Principle duties and essential functions
The EMS Procurement Manager (M/F/D) will optimize our global procurement operations by managing the overall relationship with our contract manufacturers. You will oversee direct spend, achieving cost savings, and ensuring appropriate supply chain services are provided to the business.
Manage EMS contract manufacturers - supplier relationship management.
* Execute strategy and monitor performance across quality, productivity, supply chain and sustainability.
* Orchestrate the Quarterly Business Reviews and strengthen Supplier Business Review processes.
* Manage outsourced EMS spend, in full complexity of the BOM components, value add and other services. Achieve cost savings targets.
* Manage component lifecycle events, last time buys, major product changes.
* Manage electronics shortages, escalate and resolve supply issues. Enable spot buys by quoting and price setup.
* Lead and push continuous improvement in terms of on-time-delivery performance, production utilization and cashflow with the contract manufacturers.
* Contribute to strategic concepts as part of Global Strategic Procurement Team.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economic Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
* Knowledge of industrial operations; experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or Contract Manufacturing at a multinational global company is desirable.
* Proficiency in digital tools and data analytics
* Good communication skills (English, German) and ability to influence stakeholders
* Solid financial acumen and ability to manage cash flow and cost optimization
* Experience in Supply Chain/Purchasing is welcome
