What you’ll build
We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated, and experienced Development Manager to join our team. You will build a high performing, agile engineering area by supporting your team in their day-to-day work and career development. You will set clear goals for your team to ensure they collaborate to achieve these goals and the overarching unit goals to make SAP S/4HANA for Last Mile Distribution (LMD) successful. LMD represents the crucial final phase in the delivery journey, where goods are moved from a distribution center directly to the end customer. Our solution is purpose-built to empower mid and large-scale bottlers and distributors beverage and food companies by streamlining scheduling, transportation, delivery, inventory management, and billing operations.
You are responsible for an outstanding and a successful engineering craftmanship of an empowered product team in this area. You will build, staff, coordinate, coach and trust a high performing and agile engineering team. You will closely collaborate with your respective peers from Engineering, Product Management and UX, following the principle of empowered product teams on your respective level.
What you bring:
1. Ability to discuss, plan, develop, test, build and maintain scalable, resilient and high-performant applications (nice to have in S/4HANA).
2. Ensure successful delivery and smooth operations by identifying risks impacting delivery and supporting the team resolve them efficiently.
3. Be comfortable using ABAP and RAP as well as cloud software development practices.
4. A solid understanding of common test automation frameworks and static code analysis.
5. General understanding of business processes in consumer industries.
6. Act as a coach, mentor and advocate for your team and its individual members, supporting their growth and development.
