Job Description Summary The Site SBS Lead (m/w/d) implements and drivey continuous improvement across a dedicated Sandoz operations site through the chosen SBS (Sandoz Business System – internal operational excellence (OpEx) program) methodology, focused on zero losses and 100% employee engagement mindset. The main purpose of this role is to drive the roll out of the new SBS methodology, collaborate with other key stake-holders and pilot lead sites to ensure standardization and sustainable long-term growth through the SBS principles, in alignment with site and company’s strategic needs and Sandoz’ pioneering culture. Ensuring the program implementation results in long-term success and thus stronger production performance. Job Description Major Accountabilities: Drive the roll-out of the selected SBS continuous improvement methodology across the dedicated production site, starting with pilot line and continuing implementation throughout the site, focusing on clear KPIs being cascaded through organizational levels, visualization at the production line, creation of standard work procedures, integration with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program and, more in general, pursuing zero losses in production processes and high employee engagement. Be an inclusive leader and a change champion, a role model for site management in the ability to “coach at the shop floor” to get solutions generated and owned by shop floor employees Collaborate with global teams as well as other (pilot) lead sites to foster exchange and ensure best in class implementation. Develop and drive an OpEx and SBS capability building strategy across the site, by providing training, mentoring and coaching to leaders and associates. This will include “Loss analysis”, DMAIC Green/Black Belt training as well as the training of Lean tools through Kaizen. Develop and implement a train the trainer capability building approach on site. Share and leverage best practices / expertise in the SBS community. Continuously broaden SBS program reach and activities until SBS is fully embedded in the organization´s processes and culture. Ensure Sandoz’ pioneering culture is lived, creating an inclusive work environment where every employee feels heard, seen, and respected, enabling them to drive innovation and performance What you’ll bring to the role: Bachelor/Master of engineering / chemical engineering / industrial engineering are preferable English (fluency required), German is an advantage Extensive experience implementing OpEx programs Experience leading Total Productive Maintenance (AM, PM, FI, etc). Work experience in FMCG and/or Pharmaceutical industry is desired. Successful track record for implementation of OpEx program at complex sites successfully in terms of working capital improvement, extensive efficiency improvement and structural savings generation Experience with either IWS (Integrated Work Systems), Danaher Business System (DBS) or Toyota Production System (TPS) required Able to manage, influence and lead in all directions (up, down, across) Seek and offer collaboration within and outside teams Effectively communicate, providing clarity of expectations and reasons behind decisions/actions.
