Key points of the position Reporting to the engineering and program teams, you will be responsible for Product Assurance activities across the full lifecycle of space hardware, ensuring compliance with ECSS standards, quality requirements, and customer expectations. You will play a key role in safeguarding product quality from development through production and qualification. Missions As a Product Assurance Engineer, your missions will include: Performing product assurance activities throughout product development and production phases Interfacing closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality and compliance Leading and supporting root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) within the non-conformance process Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (ECSS, ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, etc.) Conducting and reviewing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Overseeing product testing, validation, and qualification activities Supporting internal and external audits Developing, updating, and maintaining PA documentation (inspection plans, test protocols, qualification reports) Managing internal NRBs, non-conformances, MRRs and TRRs Participating in project milestones such as PDR, CDR, QR Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across projects and processes Necessary skills Solid experience applying European space standards (ECSS, ESA, NASA) and space quality requirements At least 3 years of experience in a Product Assurance or Quality Engineering role within the space or aerospace sector Strong knowledge of Product Assurance, Safety, and Quality Management disciplines Experience with configuration management, quality auditing, or assessor certification is appreciated Comfortable working with technical documentation, version control, and design review processes Able to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines Fluent English is required; German is a plus but not mandatory Salary 70-80k euros RHESO.TECH A specialized recruitment agency https://www.rheso.tech/
