The role combines electrical design, engineering delivery, and commercial cost estimation, providing end-to-end involvement across projects from initial concept through to final delivery.

Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the design and engineering process across a portfolio of projects from concept through to completion
* Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimations and tender submissions for new projects
* Develop and review technical designs, drawings, and specifications in line with client requirements and relevant standards
* Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and commercially viable
* Coordinate with external consultants, specialist planners, and authorities on technical design matters
* Support the bid and tendering process including preparation of bills of quantities and scope documents
* Conduct value engineering exercises to optimise design solutions for cost and performance
* Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international standards and regulations (DIN/VDE, IEC)
* Maintain and develop design documentation, drawing registers, and technical libraries
* Support continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and best practices across the business
* Liaise with procurement and construction teams to ensure design intent is delivered on site
* Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project kick-off sessions as required
Skills/Must Have:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable discipline
* Proven experience in electrical design and/or engineering estimation within a construction or technical environment
* Strong knowledge of relevant national and international standards and regulations (DIN/VDE, IEC)
* Experience preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions
* Proficient in CAD or electrical design software tools
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Strong analytical mindset with a structured and detail-oriented approach
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients, planners, and site teams
* English language skills required, German language skills a strong advantage
* Class B driving licence an advantage

Salary:
