We are looking for a self-driven and reliable local German professional business development representative:
1. Performing research on mainstream products, competitors and market trends.
2. Researching target partners, identifying potential customers through various channels, and compiling lists of leads.
3. Conducting cold calls, sending personalized emails, and using social selling techniques to engage with prospects.
4. Determining if a lead is a good fit for the company's products or services by understanding their needs.
5. Establishing and nurturing initial relationships with potential customers to build trust.
6. Working closely with sales and marketing teams to share insights and ensure the customers are well served.
7. Setting up virtual or in-person meetings.
8. Supporting headquarters' sales team with German/English communication, translation and follow-up.
9. Meeting and exceeding KPI, such as the number of calls made, emails sent, and meetings scheduled.
Requirements of the applicant:
1. Sales experience in retail technology, POS hardware, barcode scanner, or related fields
2. Based in Duisburg, or able to work remotely with strong local knowledge
3. Fluent in German, good English communication skills required
4. Strong verbal and written skills for engaging with prospects and internal teams
5. Proactive, communicative, and able to work independently
