Responsibilities:
As an HSE Specialist, you play a key role in shaping the success of our company by ensuring safe working conditions, fostering environmental protection, and supporting high product quality. 1. You advise managers on all HSE-related topics and conduct safety inspections and technical checks.
2. You identify potential risks, ensure they are appropriately addressed in risk assessments, analyze accidents and near-misses, and derive preventive measures.
3. Through developing, implementing, and delivering training and awareness programs, you actively promote occupational health, safety, and environmental protection.
4. You support the introduction, implementation, and further development of HSE standards, occupational safety management systems, and ISO 45001.
5. To integrate HSE requirements into the management system (e.g., ISO 9001), you collaborate closely with the Quality department.
6. You monitor legal requirements and technical developments to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:
8. Completed technical university degree or craftsman qualification, ideally in chemistry, environmental engineering, or a related field.
9. Certified "Occupational Safety Specialist" (German "Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit", short: SiFa) with experience in quality management.
10. Experience in evaluating tasks that involve risks chemicals, ideally combined with knowledge of quality management and food safety.
11. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
12. Experience with Kaizen/Lean Six Sigma and openness to new technologies, as well as actively contributing your ideas.
13. Strong interpersonal skills, open communication, ability to motivate employees towards safe and environmentally responsible behavior.
14. Excellent German language skills (mandatory), and good English skills to participate in global exchanges.
