BRANCH MANAGER

The prime responsibility of the role is to recruit, train, develop and retain a team of sales people and sales managers who are able to attain the sales budgets for the office / branch. This role requires the ability to act as a sales manager, create business opportunities, demonstrate active leadership and motivation skills whilst also fulfilling an operational role in ensuring that a high level of service is provided to our customers.
This involves the staff management of personnel including disciplinary or corrective actions as required as well as interaction with suppliers to achieve an effective appreciation of business opportunities and practices. The role has a high level of demand, as the branch manager is measured to an extent on the results of the branch.
Work with the Country Manager / Regional Sales Director on the setting of annual sales budgets.
•Actively participate in the recruitment of new hires, undertaking the key / final stage of the interview process to check the candidate can fulfill the competencies of the job role for which they are applying, and that they are the correct personality fit with the company culture and the branch team.
•Undertake regular branch communication meetings with all staff (as directed by line management) reviewing both corporate and local objectives and sharing branch performance against the set metrics.
•Support training of the Future Sales Executives, Key Account Managers, Area sales Manages through the medium of the external franchised supplier lines and the internal bespoke courses.
•Regularly hold reviews, understand the leading metrics of the demand creation, and funnel management of the branch.
•Additional projects or duties as management at time may require.
Previous experience (over three years) within an electronics sales environment preferably including people management responsibility.
•IT literate and open to learning new software/systems.
