Job Summary
This Sales Application Engineer is responsible for sales growth and business support activities with Strategic Accounts, OEM and End Users. The Regional Sales Application Engineer is responsible for formulating strategies and implementing plans to grow overall sales revenue and market share for the Business Unit in the specific vertical segments.
He/she should ideally have a deep knowledge of the positive displacement pump & gas compression requirement for Aerospace, Semiconductor, Oil & Gas, Industrial Speciality Gas and General Industrial Manufacturing market. Responsibilities are focused on bottom up selling, product awareness and driving sustainable growth through engagement and communication.
Responsibilities
 1. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical support.
 2. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for external and internal customers.
 3. Prepare technical proposals, required drawings, and design solutions tailored to customer needs.
 4. Review tender specifications and customer contracts to ensure compliance and feasibility.
 5. Assist in developing sales strategies and identifying new business opportunities.
 6. Coordinate with engineering, project, and supplier teams to ensure smooth implementation.
 7. Provide training and technical guidance to customers and internal staff.
 8. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies
 9. To establish and maintain constant contacts with procurement, project, and technical personnel at EPCC companies, petrochemical end users and engineering consultants to maximize our opportunity to participate in the project either directly or through distributors.
 10. To support on-site training, testing, and commissioning, technical support, pre-order/kick-off meeting, troubleshooting, and solving customers problem under the territory of Indonesia.
Basic Qualifications
 11. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
 12. Strong communication and presentation skills
 13. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure
 14. Experience with JD Edward or Salesforce systems is a plus
 15. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
 16. 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong technical foundations are welcome
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
 17. Ability to travel 20% to 30%
