Managing Director & Co-Shareholder – Mid-Sized Industrial Companies (DACH)
Our client is an investment firm specializing in acquiring and growing midsized companies in the DACH region, primarily in mid-tech industries such as machinery and automotive suppliers. They are looking for entrepreneurial leaders to drive these businesses forward.
The Role:
* Lead the search for acquisition targets and play a key role in the deal process.
* Transition into the Managing Director role, taking full operational leadership.
* Become a co-shareholder, growing the business alongside our client.
Ideal Candidate:
* Engineering or Science degree (BS required, MS/PhD a plus).
* MBA from a top business school is a plus.
* 3–6 years of experience in strategy consulting (minimum Engagement Manager level at McKinsey, BCG, or Bain).
* 2–4 years of industry experience in a relevant sector.
* Fluent in German and comfortable working in the DACH region.
