As a Financial Accountant your responsibilities will include: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations. Monitor AP/AR cycles, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Coordinate the financial reporting of subsidiaries and perform consolidation processes Analyze financial data and provide insights to management on performance and financial health. Maintain and improve accounting policies, processes, and internal controls. Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements What you will need to succeed in this role: Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or in Business Administration with a corresponding focus. At least two years of working experience in a Big4 audit form. Very good knowledge of accounting principles (HGB & IFRS or US-GAAP) and financial statements. Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP (ideally, NetSuite). Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in German & English) to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse large sets of data. High sense of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
