The Digital Manufacturing enables a world-class manufacturing and supply chain organization by increasing visibility and efficiency across diverse systems and processes, and delivering predictive analytics and insights. The team supports Pfizer’s Core Manufacturing & Engineering Solutions, while enabling a secure, seamless flow of contextualized data from the device & control levels, all the way to the top of the Enterprise. Our goal is to create persona driven, connected experiences across our shop floors to predict and optimize operations, while providing intelligence, and real-time insights to operators. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Operations Solutions - MES Site Deployment Lead colleague’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
5. Work with program leadership to define performance metrics and process improvement areas
6. Liaise with cross-functional agile product owner team to support defining long term program roadmaps and strategies
7. Support the management of user/ Functional Requirements Specification generation, software configuration/coding and general oversight to the MES software documentation practices
8. Support MES solution deployments, upgrades and solution process activities across multiple sites and versions
9. Analyze and solve technical issues related to the MES recipes and/ or solution development
10. Support Lead new project scoping, costing and business case definition
11. Lead product owner key activities (e.g. backlog management, program increment planning, etc.) to provide clear direction to agile teams on work priorities
12. Support User Forums and Governance alignment
13. Lead business process evaluation, process mapping and site fit gap analysis and requirements definition
14. Lead cross-functional agile team management (e.g. manufacturing, automation, Digital, etc.)
15. Lead contractor resource scenario and financial planning
16. Lead Long-Term Forecast planning for respective site(s)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
17. BS in Engineering or Technology based subjects(s) or equivalent experience.
Prior Experience:
18. 6+ Years related work experience.
19. Relevant domain experience in manufacturing and/or quality operations.
20. Experience in all stages of solution and application lifecycle from value analysis, business case development, and solution deployment through to value realization and retirement is a significant advantage.
21. Ability to work across multiple concurrent activities and successfully adapt to changing priorities as required.
22. An understanding of system cGMP requirements and demonstrable knowledge of computer system design and maintenance lifecycle in cGMP environments.
Required Capabilities:
23. 5+ years’ experience in a Global Solution environment focused on the build and deployment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
24. Experience working with Rockwell Pharmasuite or Siemens OpCenter Execution Pharma.
25. Experience with Agile Software Delivery.
26. Hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel up to 25% and must be able to support weekend or night cutover and/or upgrade activities.
