This is a partner-facing role, owning the apps focused technical relationship and strategy between the partner and Microsoft. Enterprise Partner Sales, part of Microsoft’s Industry & Partner Sales (IPS) organization, builds and co-sells innovative Microsoft Cloud & AI solutions and services with our global Enterprise partners. As a Partner Solutions Architect (AI/Apps) you will guide our most significant partners in designing and implementing innovative scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures that meet market needs. With your skills in technical leadership, cloud computing, problem solving, and systems architecture, you will ensure that their solutions are optimized for performance and cost-efficiency. Responsibilities Guide Solution Development & Activation – lead the development and activation of new or enhanced partner offerings that align with Microsoft Cloud priorities, ensuring robust, scalable, secure, and tailored solutions. Empower Innovation – run technical innovation workshops, briefings, and envisioning sessions to build technical intensity across partner teams, accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies. Strategic Sales Enablement – activate transformational deals by providing architectural guidance, resolving technical blockers, and enhancing solution design, contributing to cloud workload consumption and revenue impact. Champion Technical Excellence – guide partners through architecture design sessions, proof‑of‑concepts, and MVP builds, ensuring solutions follow Microsoft’s Cloud and AI best practices. Thought Leadership & Stakeholder Management – build long‑term engagements with strategic partners, influencing their adoption of Microsoft technologies, developing deep technical relationships with CXOs, and fostering executive alignment. Partner Enablement & Business Acumen – coach broader partner technical teams to embed pre‑sales, deployment, and consumption in solution development, navigating competitive landscapes and translating technical concepts into business value. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field and experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience. Proven ability to lead or contribute to complex, deep technical projects in customer‑facing environments, ensuring successful outcomes in remote or distributed settings. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in relevant field and/or extensive experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies and consulting. Experience in a customer‑facing role and technical projects. Technical certifications in cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, security).
