We are looking for a tech-enthusiastic Intern to join our Innovation Center team - a state-of-the-art facility focused on engaging customers and startups on the future of logistics.
In this role, you will be a key part of the technical team, gaining hands-on experience by helping to maintain our AV/IT systems and interactive exhibits. We are looking for a curious individual who is excited to learn how cutting-edge technology works in a professional environment and is ready to support our daily technical operations.
What’s your role:
* Showroom AV & Exhibit Operations: Assist with the daily startup, setup, and shutdown of technical equipment and interactive exhibits.
* Conduct Functionality Checks: Perform regular checks to ensure all hardware (screens, sensors, tablets) and software are fully operational for visitor engagement.
* Support Exhibit Testing: Assist the team in testing exhibit content or carrying out minor technical updates to maintain high operational standards.
* General AV/IT Support: Ensure full operability of AV/IT systems in meeting rooms and offices, including updates and basic maintenance.
* Troubleshooting & User Support: Provide timely support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
* Inventory Maintenance: Maintain an organized inventory of IT assets, hardware, and software licenses.
* Tool Research & Implementation: Contribute to innovation efforts by researching and testing emerging technologies and digital tools aligned with the Innovation Center’s needs.
* Support End-to-End Implementation: Assist in gathering user requirements, conducting market research, supporting procurement, and helping with the launch, setup, and configuration of new solutions.
* User Onboarding: Help create simple technical guides and provide basic training for team members.
* Global Support & Collaboration: Participate in cross-center alignment calls, support documentation for the centralized knowledge base, and collaborate with global colleagues to ensure a consistent technical experience across centers.
What we’re looking for:
* Academic Background: A technical educational background (AV, IT, Engineering, or Digital Media) or equivalent practical experience/demonstrated interest in technology. Either still enrolled in bachelor- or master’s degree program or in gap year after bachelor degree completion.
* Tech Passion: A strong interest in technology, innovation, and hands-on problem-solving.
* Learning Agility: High willingness to learn on the job and build expertise across various AV/IT platforms.
* Software Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe tools is a plus.
* Communication: Fluent English (written and spoken) and comfortable working with global teams.
* Professional Mindset: A polished, professional presence with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
* Documentation & Organization: Ability to ensure clear, accessible documentation for local and global teams.
* Collaboration: Openness to work with colleagues across different Innovation Centers.
* Adaptability: Ability to support a variety of AV/IT tasks in a dynamic environment.
