About the Role
We are seeking an entrepreneurial Project Manager to lead MIM technology adoption and drive project execution for our clients with manufacturing operations in Germany. This role requires a strong technical background combined with proven project management capabilities. You will be instrumental in positioning Yibi Precision as the premier MIM solutions partner for manufacturers operating in Germany who seek to enhance product performance while reducing costs.
Responsibilities
* Project Management & Client Coordination
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients with manufacturing operations in Germany, ensuring seamless communication between their local teams and Yibis engineering and production teams
* Manage the full project lifecycle, from initial technical consultation through design optimization, sampling, production ramp-up, and ongoing support
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
* Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolving technical and operational issues as they arise
* Coordinate with internal teams (mold design, MIM production, quality, finishing) to ensure client requirements are met
* * Technical Consulting & Solution Development
* Conduct technical assessments to understand client challenges and develop innovative MIM-based solutions
* Lead collaborative design sessions with client engineering teams, providing expert guidance on Design for MIM principles
* Provide hands-on technical support during prototyping and initial production phases to ensure successful implementation
* Advise clients on material selection, part design optimization, and cost reduction strategies using MIM technology
* * Market & Business Support
* Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise during client presentations and proposal development
* Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering and production teams at client sites in Germany
* Identify opportunities to expand Yibis scope of work with existing clients, including new projects and applications
* Gather market intelligence on MIM adoption trends within Germanys manufacturing ecosystem
Qualifications
* Technical Background Requirements
* Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field required; Masters degree preferred
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role within manufacturing, engineering services, or project management
* Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and design engineering principles
* Ability to quickly learn and master MIM technology fundamentals and applications
* * Project Management Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in project management, technical program management, or engineering management within manufacturing or industrial sectors
* Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from concept through production
* Experience working with clients or suppliers in Germany is highly preferred
* PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
* * Client & Industry Knowledge
* Established understanding of Germanys manufacturing landscape, particularly in sectors such as consumer electronics, medical devices, industrial equipment, or automotive components
* Experience working with multinational clients who have production operations in Germany
* Familiarity with local business culture and communication norms
Required Skills
* Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent technical communication skills for both engineering and management audiences
* Problem-solving mindset with ability to navigate technical and operational challenges
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
* Fluency in English required; German language skills are a strong plus
